Composite Marine Bearing material offers many design, operational and installation advantages over traditional Marine Bearing arrangements. Composite Marine Bearings offer virtually no swell in water, tolerance to edge loading and the ability to run in both lubricated and dry running conditions. Composite Marine Bearings can be fitted using an interference fit however Composite Marine bearings are normally freeze fitted with liquid nitrogen. More conventional methods are also appropriate for fitting.
